6 pilots who fly from Barton Aerodrome near Manchester decided to try The Gyrocopter Experience.  A number of the guys had been to last years SPLASH show in November and heard Phil talk about 'The Gyrocopter Revolution'.  "We heard this guy enthuse about Gyrocopters as we headed for a coffee, at the end of his presentation I knew I had to try it", Mel Earp said.  "I asked around at the airfield where I normally fly and a number of us decided to have a day out.  Mike, Gary and myself flew over in our flex wings.  Colin, Alan and Mark drove over.  It was a perfect flying day and we all had a great time.  Colin said "I really know what you mean about the Gyrocopter Grin - I have a huge smile on myself right now"......and we know,  we have a camera pointing towards the pilot in the front seat when we fly...we have the whole thing on video.
