On Saturday 6th November 2010, the Gyrocopter Experience opened the doors of the new Gyro museum and showroom at Rufforth Airfield - York.  This coincided with the offical launch of the full enclosed side-by-side Gyrocopter from Magni, the M24 Orion.

Over 100 invited guests attended the event, 22 demo flights were flown courtesy of Magni Gyro and a happy time was had by all.

The museum hosts an original Gyro Glider, an open frame Bensen single seat, a "podded" cricket showing a condensed evolution of the Gyrocopter through the ages.  On the day, the showroom hosted an M16 and the M24 from Magni Gyro.  There is also a small cinema showing various Gyro related films and a pilots lounge/receiption.

"We want to create a friendly informative atmosphere at our training facilities.  Gyros are simply fantastic and the more people we can invite to see them and learn about them, the better" says Kati Hedger of The Gyrocopter Experience.

The premises will be open most weekends throughout the winter and 7 days when the new season starts next year.
